Lauren Simon Irwin, a partner at Upton & Hatfield, was listed as the local litigation star in Benchmark Litigation for 2018. Irwin represents plaintiffs and defendants in employment disputes and civil litigation and regularly counsels and represents individuals, schools, municipalities and private entities on employment law matters.

Vijay Dav’e and Karen Hillson were elected to the board of trustees at the New Hampshire Institute of Art.

Asbury was promoted to learning and development officer at New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp. She was previously branch services representative at the Alton office for Meredith Village Savings Bank.

Amy Lockwood of Deerfield was named interim director for the New Hampshire Humanities Council. Lockwood, principal and senior consultant at Full Circle Consulting of Concord, will provide transitional leadership for board and staff after the Oct. 10 departure of Deborah Watrous.
