Karen Scott-Martinet was named a certified small business mentor for the Merrimack Valley chapter of SCORE. Scott-Martinet has a doctorate in business administration with a specialization in homeland security from Northcentral University in Arizona and master’s degree in emergency services administration from Cal State Long Beach in California. She recently retired from Northrop Grumman Corporation and now operates a consulting firm and is an online adjunct professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Chris Dickinson joined Meredith Village Savings Bank as vice president, business development and small business lending. He will be based in Meredith. He previously worked as the chief credit officer for a financial institution based in Boston.

Jason Gregoire and Jonathan Whitcomb, lawyers at Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA, were elected firm shareholders at the beginning of the year.

Victoria Cole, Hyun Min Lee and Ashley Paine have joined the staff at Concord Community Music School and will be accepting students beginning Jan. 29. Cole has a master’s degree in vocal performance from Carnegie-Mellon University and teaches voice using the Alexander technique. Lee earned a doctorate in musical arts from Boston University and plays the cello. Paine has bachelor’s degrees in music education and piano performance and pedagogy from Plymouth State University and plays the piano.
