First-year players for the CHaD Battle of the Badges toured Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon on Tuesday. The tour gave them a firsthand glimpse at what their fundraising for the Battle of the Badges supports. Eleven new players visited the Intensive Care Nursery, Molly’s Place and the CHaD Family Center, and the new in-patient unit, which was funded in part by philanthropy dollars.

This year’s CHaD Battle of the Badges Baseball Classic, presented by Faro Italian Grille, is Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
