Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol continues its run at the Hatbox Theatre inside the Steeplegate Mall.

This original adaptation takes a twist on the opening and is crafted that the story is really just a dream. It is staged to be hyper-naturalistic with projections, costumes and sound to immerse the audience in the story.

Steve Koch of Methuen, Mass., stars as Scrooge after performing the role for six years at the Leddy Center. Other cast members hail from Nashua to Laconia: John Seymour, Tina Annis, Toby Paul, Erik Shaffer, Jessica Vaughn, Paige Annis, Ryder Fisk, Anna LaDue, Finn LaDue, Tom Lott and Marissa Gast.

Shows run Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. through Dec. 17.
