What was the highlight of your season? It comes down to two games in particular. In the game against Goffstown, our team showed a lot of will and desire to beat a team we have struggled with in the past. A personal one for me was the game against St. Thomas where I threw 6⅓ perfect innings.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? Our catcher Mark Barton. His leadership skills and ability to create a relationship with all of our pitchers made us a step above other opponents.

What was the biggest surprise of the season? Our freshmen, in particular Caleb Heath and Caleb Chevarie. Both of them filled holes in the lineup.

If you could improve high school baseball in New Hampshire, what would you do? Lengthening the season would be a huge improvement. Sixteen games just isn’t enough for teams to show their potential and improve.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I’m a very superstitious person when it comes to sports, I have to wear the exact same clothes and basically the same everything on game day, especially days that I’m on the mound.

If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? Clint Eastwood would play my coach because he’s very dry in most of his movies and I’ve always liked him. I would be Nicolas Cage because he’s kind of the underdog in the movie world.

What was the last gift you gave someone? I got my mom a gift certificate to her favorite ice cream place because Mother’s Day was the most recent holiday.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently? I hunt so I was going out to loosen straps on my tree stands when I found a porcupine taking a nap on my seat. Needless to say, I was a little surprised.

Describe the color yellow to someone who is blind. It’s the color that no one likes.

A penguin walks into your school wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he there? He says gibberish because he can’t talk and he’s looking for Mexico because of his sombrero.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? Lyndon B. Johnson, Burt Reynolds and Donald Trump because that’d be one funny dinner. I’d serve lobster.

If you got $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would run a casino because I’d make my money back in three months.

If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? I’d throw my slider because no one has a better one.

What inspires you? People who come from nothing and become active and productive members of society because it takes a lot of perseverance and determination.
