What was the highlight of your season? Winning Loucks Games in New York and a state title in the 800 at my last state meet.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? The unsung hero of our team is our distance coach, Coach Irving. He’s been the most supportive of not only me throughout high school but all of our distance runners and I really don’t think I could of had the success I had this season without him.

What was the biggest surprise of the season? It was really fun to be able to win both the Loucks Games and a state title in the 800, but I wouldn’t say those were surprises, more of well-deserved accolades as a reflection of the training I put in.

If you could improve high school track and field in New Hampshire, what would you do? I wouldn’t change anything to the New Hampshire track and field program. When doing college visits this year something I was asked a lot was, “Does it get boring running in New Hampshire? There must not be a lot of competition.” And this statement could not be more inaccurate. New Hampshire has provided more competition in the past years than I could have asked for. Just this past season at the state meet, the top three finishers in the 800 were less than a second apart, proving the high level of competition in our state.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I always wear the same socks.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? Definitely pasta.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently? Watching Lauren Rouse bottle flip her Nalgene and then double dab.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? Alexi Pappas, Post Malone and Andrew Deriso. Pizza.

If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? Lip sync the song “Thrift Shop” with my boys Zack and Andy.
