What was the biggest challenge you or your team faced this season and how did you overcome it? The biggest challenge in our team was the mental part of the game, but after going over what to do in certain situations everything started to come into place.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? The unsung hero of our team this year would have to be Hannah Hicks. She stepped up as catcher in the early preseason. She helped us in so many ways, it’s incredible. She learned so quickly, she was there for our team when anyone needed her!

If you could improve high school softball in New Hampshire, what would you do? I personally would make it so every game we have three umpires.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? One superstition I have is when you are down in the last inning, and it’s your last at bat, you put on your “rally cap.” I really don’t know what it is about it but it’s worked!

What are some of the unwritten rules of your sport? Don’t show any negative emotions.

Who on your team, coaches included, reminds you of a character in a TV show or movie? If anyone reminds me of any character in a TV show of movie it would be Skip. He reminds me of Robert De Niro in Meet the Parents.

If life were a video game, what would some of the cheat codes be? I don’t play any video games so I don’t know what any cheat codes or anything would be.

What is something that is really popular now, but in five years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by? Duckface will be what everyone will be embarrassed by in 5 years.

Where do you get your news? Concord Monitor.

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made? My best purchase was my softball bat this year. I don’t know what I would have done without it! My worst purchase would have to be is any jewelry because I never end up wearing it anyway.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know? Elephants are pregnant for almost two years before birth.

What’s invisible but you wish people could see? Motivation.

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why? I would go to any country that speaks Spanish, since that is the only other language I can somewhat understand.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest? If animals could talk, I would say that roosters would be the rudest.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future? Do people still play softball?

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done? One of the teachers decided to travel the world.

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst? The best thing about being a teen is not being an adult, the worst part is trying to be a teen and an adult at the same time.
