What was biggest challenge you or your team faced this season and how did you overcome it?

We lost our coach last year to cancer and we were adjusting to the new coaches and style of play, we overcame this throughout the season by buying into the new coach and the system as a whole.

Who was the unsung hero of your team?

Sara Osborne. She’s definitely not the tallest person on the court, but she hustles and is scrappy like nobody else, she’s a great shooter and makes great plays.

If you could improve high school basketball in New Hampshire, what would you do?

If I could improve high school basketball I would definitely add a shot clock. It’s just boring when teams stall the ball and take three minutes on one possession.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they?

I have to shower before every game, which sounds kind of weird because I have to shower again after anyways, but it just helps me stay focused and get organized before the game.

What are some of the unwritten rules of your sport?

A guaranteed two points is better than a possible three points.

Who on your team, coaches included, reminds you of a character in a TV show or movie?

Sara Osborne looks a lot like Boo from Monsters Inc.

If life were a video game, what would some of the cheat codes be?

Infinite health.

What is something that is really popular now, but in five years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by?

Filtered selfies.

Where do you get your news?

Concord Monitor.

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

My best purchase was my replacement remote car starter and I don’t really remember making any terrible purchases that I regret.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know?

I know like the first 30 decimals of pi without hesitation.

What’s invisible but you wish people could see?

Loyalty.

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why?

Denmark, because it’s the happiest place on earth.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

Reptiles. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie where a reptile was a nice character.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

I don’t think I’d want to know anything about the future because I would want to try to find a way to change it if it were going to be bad.

If you were hired to show tourists what life is really like where you live, what would you show them / have them do?

I would take the tourists to some local apple orchards and through the Franconia Notch to show them the mountains.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?

A teacher told me the other day that he once stopped a fight and got punched in the face by a student after.

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst?

The best thing about being a teen is not having too many real world responsibilities, but the worst is trying to choose what you want to do with your life so early.
