What was the biggest challenge you or your team faced this season and how did you overcome it?

Since we had a whole new roster, we needed to figure out how we would play together. I had been so comfortable playing with the seniors that graduated last year. It did not take long for us to gel and I give a lot of credit to the coaching staff.

Who was the unsung hero of your team?

There really wasn’t an unsung hero on our team. I feel like every kid on the team had a specific role that they embraced in order for the team to succeed.

If you could improve high school basketball in New Hampshire, what would you do?

I would implement a 35-second shot clock to enhance play and to get more possessions in a 32-minute game.

Do you have any sports superstitions?

I have some superstitions. I always put my left shoe on before my right, but I always tie my right shoe first. I also never tuck my jersey in until right when the game is about to start.

What are some of the unwritten rules of your sport?

It is important to respect the other team. Some unwritten rules are not running up the score. Helping up an opposing player when they are on the floor is also a rule I consider unwritten.

Who on your team, coaches included, reminds you of a character in a TV show or movie?

This question really stumped me.

If life were a video game, what would some of the cheat codes be?

One cheat code I could definitely have would be unlimited stamina or microwave which means I can heat up in a hurry. These are cheat codes for a basketball video game.

What is something that is really popular now, but in five years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by?

I think really tight clothes will be replaced by baggy clothes in a few years because trends always come and go.

Where do you get your news?

I get my news on my cellphone.

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

The best purchase I have ever made was probably my Xbox and some of my worst purchases have to be the shoes I’ve bought that I really did not need.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know?

Not a fact, but Kyrie Irving will be the best Celtic ever when it’s all set and done. YES I SAID IT.

What’s invisible but you wish people could see?

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why?

The Philippines because that is where I was born and raised before I came to the United States.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

An ostrich would definitely be the rudest.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

How is the game of basketball played compared to my time?

If you were hired to show tourists what life is really like where you live, what would you show them / have them do?

I would bring them to Johnson’s to get ice cream and I would probably bring them to the Smith Hall Gym which is the greatest place in my town.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?

My math teacher does something crazy everyday, assigns extremely difficult homework every single night. My math teacher happens to be coach Daigle, the JV coach so please do not show him this!

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst?

The best thing about being a teen is the increased freedom! The worst thing is having more responsibilities and getting older.
