Concord Police have identified remains found near the I-393 bridge downtown as 36-year-old Concord resident Curtis Ayer.

Ayer’s body, in a “skeletal” state, was found “in an overgrown grassy area” on the eastbound embankment of the highway, near Commercial Street on April 22, according to Concord Police.

His cause of death is yet to be determined, and an investigation remains open.

Concord Police could not immediately be reached for more information Wednesday.

Concord Police have asked anyone with information related to this investigation to contact Detective Rizzi at the Concord Police Department at 603-225-8600.
