■Good Life Programs & Activities (254 North State St.) is offering “The Back Yard Oasis: Painting with Steve Pascucci” on Wednesday from 1:30-3 p.m. Steve is back and hoping to see you in this step-by-step class. He will instruct you so you will have an entire finished painting to take home. The cost to attend this in-person class is $30. Registration in advance is required. ■Kid Pinky will perform a free concert at Eagle Square on Thursday at 7 p.m. The concert is brought to you by the Walker Lecture Fund, Grappone Auto Group and the Parks and Recreation Department. ■Reserve your spot now for Pope Memorial SPCA low-cost vaccinations on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Space is limited. An online form must be completed and sent in before your appointment. Bring your cats, dogs and ferrets for rabies vaccinations ($20), microchips ($25), kennel cough vaccines ($15) and distemper vaccines ($15). Proof of past rabies vaccinations is needed to determine if your pet needs a one- or three-year vaccine. Cats must be safely in carriers and dogs on leashes. ■The Concord Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and off of Capitol Street in downtown Concord. The event has 40 vendors that offer meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, fish, honey, baked goods and maple products. Also featured are potted plants, cut flowers, wood products, dog treats and body care products.

■There will be a blood drive at the N.H. Department of Transportation (7 Hazen Drive) on Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone who donates blood through July 31 will be automatically entered for a chance to win gas for a year ($5,000 value). There will be three winners. Those who donate blood, platelets or plasma will also receive a $10 Amazon gift card via email. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds.

■The third event of the CYPN Wellness Series will be on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at SHARA Vineyards, 82 Currier Road, to learn about wine and our environment. ■The westbound lane of Clinton Street will be closed from South Fruit Street to Langley Parkway on Saturday from 7:50-8:05 a.m. for the Bill Luti 5-Miler road race. Also on Saturday, Capitol Street will be closed between Green Street and North State Street from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Concord Farmers Market.
