The city has issued a parking ban for downtown Concord between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. Thursday. There is no on-street parking on any street downtown between this time for snow removal operations.

Parking is available free of charge in the city’s garages from 5 p.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Thursday.

Cars parked on the street can be fined $100 and towed away. Owners have to pay a fee of $120 or more up front to the towing company in order to get their cars back.

Concord received 4.2 inches of snow Tuesday on top of the 4.7 inches it received this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

The city offers alerts to which residents can subscribe for more information about the parking bans. For more information visit concordnh.gov/winteroperations.
