A 2015 Concord Police Department SUV sustained significant damage – and may have been totaled – in a three-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

The Ford cruiser was traveling west on Loudon Road in the area of Olive Garden when a Toyota Corolla pulled out of the restaurant’s parking lot and attempted to head east, police said. However, the Toyota collided with a pickup truck in the eastbound lane, causing the truck to spin, cross into the opposite lane of travel and strike the cruiser.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla, Marthe Dube of Deerfield, was issued a summons for failing to yield the right of way before entering a public road.

The officer was injured and is temporarily out of work, police said, without naming the officer.

The crash was reported at about 1:45 p.m.
