Letter: Dobrinski will bring long-term vision to city council

In my three years of living in Concord, I’ve seen that we can bring life back to this city. We can build a robust and stable local economy. We can attract young professionals. But in doing so, we must think strategically and long-term.

That’s why I ask you to consider Michael Dobrinski for the at-large seat in the city council special election on March 5. Growing up in the city and purchasing his first house here with his wife in 2015, Mike considers Concord his hometown. He knows Concord’s potential – and he’s ready to help other young professionals see it, too.

From restaurants and coffee shops to gyms and specialty boutiques, young entrepreneurs are starting to see the value in our capital city. Revitalizing our downtown is a start, but we have to do more. Support affordable housing initiatives. Invest in our schools. Take a serious look at the state of our infrastructure. Attract employers with larger hiring capacity.

Mike understands the real struggles of young professionals in our community. As an at-large councilor, Mike will advocate for young Concord residents who are trying to build lives, careers and families.

Want to actually grow a sustainable local economy? It’s time to attract, support and invest in young professionals and families. If that’s something you believe in, join me in voting for Michael Dobrinski on March 5.
