An Epsom man who died in a tree-clearing accident over the weekend in Brentwood was the owner of Ridgewood Timber Harvesting.

Authorities said 35-year-old Eric LaFramboise was notching a tree when another tree he was working on was blown over by a strong gust of wind and hit him from behind.

Police responded to a home in Brentwood on Sunday afternoon. They found LaFramboise under a large pine tree by the homeowners who had hired him, according to reports.

The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death an accident.
