A former Dunbarton selectman already facing charges of indecent exposure and using a computer to lure children for sexual purposes is now facing additional charges.

Merton Mann, 74, was recently served with five counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault against one child and two counts of sexual assault at the Merrimack County House of Corrections in Boscawen, according to a Dunbarton police press release.

Mann is currently awaiting trial for charges of indecent exposure and certain uses of computer services prohibited. He is due for arraignment Friday.

The incidents related to the new charges took place between 2006 and 2007. The current charges and new charges are not connected, said Dunbarton police Chief Daniel Sklut.

Mann has prior charges of embezzlement from his time as Dunbarton’s historical society’s treasure. He admitted in April 2014 to stealing $14,500 from the organization and was sentenced to two to six years in the state prison, suspended on good behavior.
