Letter: Kindness, at just the right time

Wednesday, October 04, 2017

I offer this at a time of violence. I’ve always thought of the Heritage Trail, across the new Sewells Falls Bridge from the Concord Monitor’s side, as a perfect site for a mini-hike.

The river, a pine needle and leaf covered wooded path, pine, oak, maple trees, birds and little critters... I mean, how could it be any more ideal?

Well someone from this world, or another, has added one more touch of beauty. Tucked into a tree trunk, resting on a stump, or placed on a bed of moss will occasionally appear small flat stones with messages.

The one I saw last Friday simply said: Kindness is contagious. Love it!

Whoever you are – or whatever you may be – thank you.
