No program has scored more goals in the Division II boys’ soccer tournament than the Bow Falcons. Max Elsasser is a big reason why.

With five goals through two playoff games, Elsasser earned the Monitor Player of the Week Award and has the No. 3 Falcons rolling entering Wednesday’s semifinal against No. 2 Pembroke.

The junior striker helped carry the Falcons out of the first round with a hat trick against No. 14 St. Thomas in a 4-0 win, and then supplied two more goals in an impressive 5-1 victory over No. 6 John Stark in the quarterfinals.

Elsasser’s performance against the Generals helped Bow exact some revenge after losing to John Stark, 1-0, at the end of the regular season.
