Police say a man rammed a cruiser as he led police on a chase.

New Hampshire state police said 27-year-old Dustin Claar faces felony reckless conduct charges. Police are accusing Claar of driving while intoxicated.

Claar refused to pull over for a Seabrook police officer early Saturday morning, police said. Claar hit a mailbox, left the scene and later hit a state trooper’s cruiser when Claar’s Dodge Ram drove out of a driveway, according to officials.

Police pursued Claar as he traveled through Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Claar lost control of the vehicle and crashed on Route 107 in Seabrook, according to reports. A police dog found Claar hiding in a barn, officials said.

It wasn’t clear whether Claar has an attorney. The Rockingham County Jail didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
