Families and state officials celebrated National Adoption Month at a ceremony at the State House on Monday, where the governor issued a proclamation to mark the occasion.
   There were 107 children adopted in the Granite State between October 2016 and September 2017, according to the Department of Health and Human Services. The state is currently trying to place another 25 children into forever homes.
