The Greater Concord Interfaith Council will hold a vigil at 7 tonight at the Wesley United Methodist Church for the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando, Fla., on Sunday.

The interfaith council is welcoming everybody in the community to attend, pray and mourn for the 49 people shot and killed and the more than 50 others wounded during a terrorist attack at the gay nightclub, Pulse Orlando.

Candles will be provided, and the vigil will be held inside the church.

“Our compassion extends to all who are suffering, especially to those of us who are Muslim and to those of us who are LGBT,” the council said in its Facebook post about the vigil. “All are welcomed, regardless of views about religion. This is a chance to share and grow our love throughout our community.”
