A city-wide parking ban will begin Thursday night in the city of Concord to allow crews time to clear off the streets after Wednesday’s storm.

City officials ordered all residents to refrain from parking on any street from midnight Thursday to 7 a.m. on Friday.

Free parking is available in the city garages starting at 7 p.m. Thursday through 8 a.m. Friday morning, city officials said.

Cars will be towed and ticketed if parked on the streets overnight.
