Anyone interested in running for a Concord elected official position has until Monday to file with the City Clerk’s office.

So far, all 10 of the city’s ward councilors have filed to run for their positions. Of those 10, nine were running unopposed as of Wednesday evening. The only ward councilor with an opponent is Ward 10 councilor Dan St. Hilaire, of Hampton Street; his opponent is David Sky, of Appleton Street.

At-large incumbents Amanda Grady Sexton of Mountain Road and Fred Keach of Concord Street have also filed to run, as has George Jack of Blackwater Road.

Mayor Jim Bouley has also filed to run for his position, and he is also unopposed.

Concord School Board members Barbara Higgins and Thomas Croteau have also filed to run; Alana Kimball announced Monday she will not be running for re-election.

Filing for municipal office began Sept. 8. The filing fee to run for mayor or for a seat on the city council is $5. The filing fee for a ward official position is $1.
