1. GILFORD BOYS’ TENNIS , the 5-time Division III champs, have started 3-0 to up their winning streak to 87 matches.

2. HOPKINTON BASEBALL , last year’s D-IV champs, return seven starters and are 3-0, outscoring opponents 27-8.

3. PEMBROKE SOFTBALL is 2-0 and returns 10 players with starting experience from last year’s D-II semifinal team.

4. BOW BOYS’ TENNIS is 3-0 and returns four players from last year’s top six, including senior No. 1 Brayden Binder.

5. HOPKINTON BOYS’ LAX , last year’s D-III champs, return its defensive core but graduated the bulk of its offense.

6. BOW GIRLS’ TENNIS , the defending D-III champs, return the bottom half of their ladder and have started 3-0.

7. BOW GIRLS’ LAX is 2-0 with 10 seniors and tons of talent back from last season’s 14-4 semifinal team.

8. BISHOP BRADY SOFTBALL , a D-III quarterfinalist last year, has outscored opponents 35-4 in two games this year.

9. LACONIA GIRLS’ LAX returns three all-state players from last year’s D-III quarterfinal team and has started 2-0.

10. JOHN STARK BASEBALL returns three all-state players and has already won two big games this spring.
