On March 23, Mr. and Mrs. Buttmen tried to take over the atrium and lunch room at John Stark Regional High School but they were beaten back by more than 400 students “taking the pledge” to either stop or never start smoking.

New Buttmen puppets were introduced this year designed and built by Natalie Lessard and Ken Beauchemin of Weare. This is the seventh year that JSRHS has participated in National Kick Butts Day, kickbuttsday.org.
