A clean park

A sincere thanks from the Friends of White Park! Every year, neighbors and Friends of White Park gather for a morning of beautifying and cleaning up the park. We are fortunate that the staff of Concord’s Park and Rec does a fabulous job day in and day out keeping one of Concord’s great outdoor resources in excellent shape. Those of us who gathered June 2 spent time planting, weeding, raking, mulching and putting down pine bark (lots of pine bark!). A special thanks to Zachary Montoya and Christopher Jacques with Parks & Rec, and Ward Four City Councilor Byron Champlin for their tireless on-site assistance. Thanks as well to Cole Gardens and Brochu Nursery and Landscaping for their generous donations of flowers, shrubs and bushes. It is always heartening to see the community come together to help keep Concord beautiful.
