WEBSTERPublic hearing on wetlands

■The Planning Board will be holding a public hearing on Sept. 16, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to present and receive public comment on the Wetlands and Watershed Protection Ordinance. The meeting will be held at Town Hall in the Grange Hall. The proposed ordinance can be viewed online at webster-nh.gov. A physical copy of the ordinance has also been made available for viewing in the Town Clerk’s Office.

■When purchasing or selling a vehicle through a private sale, not only do you want to be sure there is a Bill of Sale between buyer and seller, but the seller also needs to complete the assignment on the back of the vehicle’s title.  Too often this is not complete and the Town Clerk is sending residents back to the seller to have the form completed.  The assignment of ownership on the title is a contract between the buyer and seller and cannot be altered or completed at the counter in the Town Clerk’s office.

■The Webster Food Pantry is open to any resident in need.  It is located in the parish house of the Webster Congregational Church located at 1011 Long Street.  The pantry is open from 6 to 8 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month but can be opened anytime by appointment.  Call 568-2526 for further information.
