UNH men’s hockey falls to Dartmouth, 3-1, at Ledyard Classic

Matt Baker scored two goals for the Big Green as the No. 16 University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team fell to Dartmouth, 3-1, on Friday night at Thompson Arena on the first day of the Ledyard Classic.

No. 17 Minnesota Duluth beat Yale, 5-0, in the first game. UNH will square off against Yale on Saturday starting at 4 p.m. in the third-place game.

Chris Miller scored the Wildcats’ lone goal, while Liam Blackburn and Brendan van Riemsdyk were credited with assists. Danny Tirone made 27 saves in the defeat.

Quin Foreman accounted for Dartmouth’s third goal of the game.
