Letter: Closing primary to undeclared voters

Here we are again, HB 101 to restrict 40% of New Hampshire constituents from voting because they don’t belong to a party. There were similar bills introduced many years ago in 2005 and 2007. I testified against both these bills at that time.

Instead of closing access to voting the opposite should be happening: more access to vote. There is only one requirement that is required to vote, being a citizen of the United States of America.
