A man was rushed to Concord Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries following a car crash on Route 77 in Weare on Tuesday.

Weare police say three pick-up trucks were involved in the wreck on Concord Stage Road about 12:16 p.m. in the area of Reynwood Lane and Blake Road.

First responders in Weare said in a press release that one of the trucks traveling west crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and collided with another truck. Those two trucks came to a rest on the shoulder, along with a third truck caught up in the crash.

One of the drivers was taken by ambulance to Concord Hospital while others in the vehicles reported having only minor injuries, according to the press release.

The road was shut down for more than an hour after the crash. Dunbarton police assisted Weare officers and first responders.
