Citizens Bank donated more than $107,000 to nonprofits in New England including Champlain Housing Trust, Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, The Granite YMCA, NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire, United Way of Northwest Vermont, and Granite United Way.  As part of the Citizens Helping Citizens Manage Money program, the bank this year will provide $1.5 million in contributions to more than 105 nonprofits in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York. The initiative helps the community by supporting programs that give people the confidence and tools they need to budget, save, invest, be financially healthy and inspire them to pursue their goals.

Intown Concord’s annual meeting took place virtually this  April 22.  During the meeting three new directors were sworn in along with  11 returning directors to the board. New directors include Meagan Ferns of Strive Indoor Cycling, Brooke Lovett of Upton & Hatfield Law Firm and Ross Mingarelli of CandleTree Soy Candles.   After six years of board service, outgoing directors Nathan Warecki of Nixon Peabody and Michael Herrmann of Gibson’s Bookstore were recognized for their extraordinary commitment to the mission of Intown Concord and outstanding board leadership.
