Gilbert Oriol of New Hampshire Business Sales in Pembroke was named broker of the year for 2017 by New Hampshire Business Sales in the Main Street sales category. He sold six businesses during the year ranging from assisted living facilities to landscape maintenance firms from the Lakes Region to the Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire. Four of the businesses were sold with related real estate.

Abhijit “Nannu” Nobis of Nobis Engineering was selected by a jury of his peers from New Hampshire’s engineering societies as the 2018 New Hampshire Engineer of the Year. The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Hampshire nominated Nobis based on his record of professional accomplishments, service to the profession, and contributions to the community. He’ll be receiving this award at the 67th annual Engineer’s Week Banquet on Feb. 22 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

Stephen Wright purchased stock for an ownership role at Sanborn, Head & Associates in Concord. He is leader of the company’s solid waste practice area and has more than 25 years of experience.

Adam Frey joined RPF Environmental and completed his field training as an EH&S technician. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Southern New Hampshire University.
