Katharine Shields of Canterbury was one of four people recently added to the board of directors of the N.H. Center for Nonprofits. She is the former executive director of the N.H. Community Development Finance Authority and former vice president community reinvestment at Providian Financial.

Molly Owen joined the Granite United Way as director of development. She was previously a project manager at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Jameson Meschino, a CPA with Nathan Wechsler and Co., was elected as treasurer for the board of directors for the Animal Rescue League of N.H.

Anne Marie Appel, a Realtor with BHG the Milestone Team, was named the 2018 Realtor of the Year by the Sunapee Region Board of Realtors. Appel has been a local leader in her industry, serving on the Sunapee Region Board of Realtors board of directors in 2017 and 2018. As a member of the SRBR Neighbors Helping Neighbors Committee, she has helped to plan the charitable organization’s biggest event of the year – the “Hoe Down” – for the past two years.

Karen White of Weare will serve as the new program director for the master of science in project management program at Granite State College. Prior to Granite State College, White was an adjunct faculty member at New England College and Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies, teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
