Player of the Week

Fueled by some sharp attack play from forward Cameron Darrah, the Pittsfield boys’ soccer team piled up 15 goals in a pair of victories and marched toward the top of the standings in Division IV.

Darrah netted seven goals and one assist for the Panthers (4-1) on his way to being named the Monitor’s Player of the Week.

The senior set the tone for the Panthers during their 10-0 win over Nute on Sept. 6 with four goals, and then followed up that performance with a hat trick in a 5-0 triumph over Lin-Wood on Sept. 8.

Darrah’s scoring touch has been a huge part of Pittsfield’s early success as the Panthers have outscored their opponents 31-3 through five games.
