Hanukkah’s start celebrated

Hanukkah began Sunday at sundown and with it came the annual lighting of the menorah outside the New Hampshire State House in Concord.

Rabbi Levi Krinsky, Director of Chabad of New Hampshire oversaw the lighting of the State House menorah. The menorah was kindled by Clara Nascimento. Nascimento is an active member of Chabad of NH and holds the current title of Miss Liberty’s Outstanding Teen 2022.

Chabad of New Hampshire holds a public lighting of their 13-foot menorah at the State House in Concord every year on the first night of Hanukkah.
