Letter: A matter of qualification

Published: 10/24/2021 7:00:36 AM

The recent article about Frank Edelblut’s participation in a forum hosted by the Government Integrity Project prompted me to find out about his qualifications for being New Hampshire Commissioner of Education. In short, in my opinion, Mr. Edelblut has no qualifications. No experience in education except home schooling for his children.

Supporting and making possible “freedom” vouchers rather than finding ways to provide resources to properly fund all public schools. Using his position to undermine the state’s boards of education and school employees. Gov. Sununu and his Executive Council acted irresponsibly when they approved this unqualified candidate. Mr. Edelblut’s appearance and remarks tell me that his ethics, his understanding of his official responsibilities, are non existent, harmful to the children of New Hampshire.
