Concord Police have arrested a man accused of breaking into a downtown coffee shop in June.
Deshon Stone-Davis, 29, was arrested Thursday morning and faces burglary charges after he broke into Brothers Cortado and stole cash, Concord Police said.
Brothers Cortado co-owner Ian Nemiccolo told the Monitor that the break-in happened just an hour before shop staff arrived for work on the morning of June 10. He said they’re grateful to Concord Police for their responsiveness.
“It’s scary for us to have someone come into the building an hour before my staff shows up,” Nemiccolo said.
Nemiccolo added that Brothers Cortado loves their home in Bicentennial Square and that their customers were very supportive after the theft.
Stone-Davis has no connection to the coffee shop, according to Concord Police. He listed a home address in Franklin in police records.
Police would not disclose the amount stolen, citing an open investigation into others potentially involved in the burglary.
