A road rage incident involving gunfire on Tuesday night has left the Henniker Police Department calling for the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved.

Around 7 p.m., a driver traveling on Route 202/9 reported being fired upon by a smaller white pickup truck, believed to be similar to a Ford Ranger. The confrontation reportedly began as the truck sped past the victim’s vehicle on the left and continued as both vehicles moved onto Old Concord Road, near Old West Hopkinton Road.

According to the Henniker Police Department, shots from the pickup struck the victim’s car, shattering both back passenger windows.

Authorities are actively investigating and are asking anyone with information about the incident or the white pickup truck to contact them. The public is asked to contact the New Hampshire Crime Line at (603) 226-3100 if they would like to remain anonymous.
