Boys’ Hockey

Hanover 3, Concord 2, OT

Key players: Concord – Jack Shoemaker (goal), Carter Doherty (goal), AJ Dow (2 assists)

Highlights: Concord tied the game twice, including a game-tying goal from Doherty with 3:28 left to force overtime, but it wasn’t enough the Bears ended the Tide’s regular season with a loss. Hanover took a 1-0 lead four minutes into the second period, before Shoemaker tied it five minutes later. Concord will be a top-3 seed for the upcoming Division I postseason tournament.

Coach’s quote: “It was a tough loss. It was a hard fought game. We played hard, but didn’t execute. We struggled on the power play tonight and that hurt us. We battled to the end, but need to regroup and really work hard this week heading into the tournament.” – Concord’s Dunc Walsh

Bow 5, Salem 2

Key players: Bow – Owen Webber (2 goals), Brodie O’Neil (goal), Billy Smethurst (goal), Aidan Labrecque (goal), Kian O’Leary (goalie)

Highlights:  The Falcons won their final game of the regular season on the road at the Blue Devils. Bow will have the No. 6 seed for the upcoming Division I postseason tournament.
