Pedestrian killed by car on South Street in Concord

A Manchester man who was struck by a motor vehicle on South Street on Tuesday was taken to Concord Hospital and later died from his injuries.

Around 6 a.m. on Tuesday Sept. 19, Arian Molla, 54, was in the area of 9 South St., near the intersection with Pleasant Street, when he was hit, police said. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Friday.

Police did not name the driver who hit Molla or explain why Molla was in the roadway. 

The incident remains under investigation and no criminal charges have been filed at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Concord Police Department at 603-225-8600.
