Concord Country Club member Matt Paradis, a sophomore at Southern New Hampshire University, won the Northeast-10 individual championship on Tuesday at Lake Sunapee Country Club. Paradis, who was runner-up in the last two New Hampshire State Amateur championships, was in eighth place after the first round, but he fired an even-par 70 (matching the lowest single round score of the tournament) in the second round to force a playoff with Saint Anselm’s Stephen Hunt. Paradis made par on the first playoff hole for the win.

Bow’s Josh Lacasse, a SNHU captain along with Paradis, carded a two-round total of 153 to help the Penmen finish fourth as a team.
