 Writing Wednesdays with Tracy Wood 

What: Please join Tracy Wood for a five-week fall writing workshop on Wednesday mornings at the John Hay Estate.  The class will focus on the writing process through a workshop format, providing ample opportunities for individual writing and partner sharing.  Class participants will also be offered plenty of practical tools that can be applied to any writing project.  

When:  Wednesdays, Sept. 13-Oct. 11, 9-10:30 a.m. 

Where:  John Hay Estate at the Fells, 456 Rt. 103A, in Newbury

 Ted Herbert Music School Faculty Recital

What:  The community is welcome to join the Ted Herbert Music School for its faculty recital. Performances include solos, duets and trios by several members of the faculty.

When:  Saturday, Sept. 9th at 10 a.m.

Where: Ted Herbert Music School & Majestic Studio Theatre located at 880 Page Street in Manchester

What:  ‘Curtain Up: An Evening of Music,’ Directed by Catherine Martinez and Produced by Josh Crowell-Gregoire will be a musical medley evening with wonderful talent/musicians, as they raise funds for our new HVAC!

When: Saturday, Sept.9th at 8 p.m.

Where: The Scenic Theatre on 6 Depot St., in Pittsfield.

Deathtrap

What: Comfortably ensconced in his charming Connecticut home, Sidney Bruhl, a successful writer of Broadway thrillers, is struggling to overcome a dry spell that has resulted in a string of failures and a shortage of funds. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a student in the seminar he has been conducting at a nearby college—a thriller that Sidney recognizes immediately as a potential Broadway smash. Sidney’s plan, devised with his wife’s help, is to offer collaboration to the student for co-credit. Or is it?
