Two people were stabbed in Concord in unrelated incidents on Tuesday and Wednesday, possibly in incidents involving drugs, police said.

Both victims were adult men whose injuries were “non-life-threatening,” according to a statement issued Thursday by police Lt. Sean Ford.

The first case was Tuesday evening, when investigators said a man was stabbed in his head and upper body at the Comfort Inn on Hall Street. He was treated at Franklin Hospital.

“It is believed that the incident may have involved drugs,” Ford said.

The second incident was Wednesday about 11:24 p.m., when a man said he “was attacked by a group of males in the area of 47 South St.” He reported injuries to his arm and hand.

“Little suspect information could be provided,” Ford said. “It is believed that the incident may also have been drug related.”

Police are asking anyone with information to call Ford at 225-8600 or the crimeline at 226-3100.
