Suspicions that the man who appeared to be Governor Sununu in an interview with George Stephanopolous recently was actually Lindsay Graham in a rubber mask are ridiculous, of course.

The truth is much more pedestrian: Sununu needs a job, so he’s auditioning for a role in the next season of The Last of Us, an apocalyptic television show about a mind-hive fungus that replaces all personality and conviction in every human it infects. Sad!
