A 27-year-old man who was visiting family in Bow and reported missing Thursday was found dead Friday, police said.
Search teams from New Hampshire Fish and Game and Bow Police Department found the body of Jesse Lane, of California, in a wooded area near Page Road.
“The death does not appear to be suspicious, however, the medical examiner’s office responded to the scene and will conduct an investigation to determine cause of death,” Bow Police Chief Ken Miller said in a statement.
Lane’s car was parked near a trail on Branch Londonderry Turnpike west.
Police and volunteers searched the area on foot and requested the assistance of a State Police helicopter, Miller said.
“We want to thank New Hampshire State Police, New Hampshire Fish and Game, and the volunteers who assisted with the search,” Miller said.
Lane’s family has been notified.
