Bow woman celebrates her “nearly 100th” birthday with family

Dora Provencal Bresaw, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Bow, celebrated her “nearly 100th” birthday at the Common Man Restaurant with her family and friends while visiting New Hampshire for the summer. Bresaw has three children, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren, with one more due this year. Longtime Dunbarton resident and renowned potter Gerry Williams died this week after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. Williams was 88. For years, Williams ran a studio out of his Dunbarton home.
