NORTH BRANCH CONSTRUCTION of Concord completed improvements to the interior and exterior of United Rentals’ new facility in Hooksett. The 23,000-square-foot facility is a former PSNH warehouse and now includes warehouse, office and showroom space, allowing United Rentals to consolidate their Manchester and Hudson locations.
MEREDITH VILLAGE SAVINGS BANK purchased $25,000 in tax credits from BELKNAP ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL through the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority’s Community Development Investment Program. Belknap Economic Development Council is awarded $25,000 in tax credits each year and uses them to raise funds for retaining and attracting young talent; supporting creative entrepreneurs; and enhancing workforce development programs.
HMFH ARCHITECTS, a Cambridge, Mass.-based architectural firm received a Project of Distinction award from the Council of Educational Facility Planners International at the Northeast Regional conference for its design of three new elementary schools for the Concord School District. The Abbot-Downing Elementary School, Christa McAuliffe Elementary School and Mill Brook Primary School all feature a Learning Corridor, a unique model for elementary education that provides a bridge between a traditional library and 21st century learning spaces that promote flexibility, collaboration, technology and social interaction.

Members of the PARENTING COORDINATOR ASSOCIATION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE met recently at McLane Law Firm’s Concord office to plan outreach activities for the coming year.
