Race one of the NH Coaches Series went in the books on Saturday, and the Hopkinton boys’ Nordic team found itself in an unusual spot – out of the lead, back in sixth, and behind a local team in Concord, no less. The Hawks weren’t happy, and rather than shake off their performance like the snow off their skis, they let it sit and fester a bit, knowing that even before they could change the standings, they’d have a chance to show their form.
