Key players: Concord – Elizabeth Blinn (13 points), Delaney Duford (13 points), Aidah Smalley (8 points)
Highlights: The Tide jumped out to a 12-2 lead after the first quarter thanks to excellent full court defense and Blinn scored 10 points in the second quarter to lead Concord to a 28-9 halftime lead. The Tide held the lead heading into the fourth (33-17), but Dover got hot from 3-point range to close the gap.
Coach’s quote: “The first half was great. Everything was rolling. The full court defense, the half court defense, the offensive conversions, everything. In the second half we struggled. This was our first time having a complete roster all season. Some of that showed tonight, particularly in the second half. We were not showing the same energy and effort on the defensive end, and we were not taking care of the basketball. Both of these could very well be tired mistakes. Highlights: Hicks – the lone senior on the Giants – led the scoring on Senior Night, while Bryson and Pellerin made some great plays on defense that led to some easy baskets.

Highlights: Stewart got the Wildcats rolling with seven points in the first quarter and Fall Mountain – finalists in each of the last three seasons – controlled play from start to finish en route to a seventh straight victory.

Coach’s quote: “Being down some kids tonight with injuries, other kids really needed to step up. Sophomore Vanessa Power had a big game. Vanessa was great all night. She is a player who really does not get a lot of minutes and tonight she got the start and played great. Sophia Braun playing in her first varsity game really stepped up. Credit goes to those kids for being ready when their number is called. They work hard everyday in practice and to see them step up, I am very proud of them. Highlights: Marquis played very well in the first period to keep the Falcons in the game at 2-0, but Exeter extended the lead to 4-0 before Labrecque scored to make it 4-1 in the second.
Coach’s quote: “We didn’t start on time tonight and let Exeter take it to us in the first. If it wasn’t for Mason in net and on top of his game, it could easily have been 6-0 after one (period). The guys began to get going with a much more aggressive style of play as the game went on, but it was too late with the way Exeter came out. I am happy with the way the kids played in the second and third, but we need to start playing three full periods of high-tempo hockey.” – Bow’s Tim Walsh
