In response to Matthew St. Onge’s request to rename New Hampshire’s largest voting group, the undeclared voter, I wouldn’t mind being called unencumbered voter, because I am unencumbered with the baggage of a political party.

When I Google synonyms, there are also several other great choices: uninfluenced, unconstrained, untainted, unhampered and free-as-a-bird.
